- Decal (short for decalcomania) is a decorative technique in which a design is printed onto a special paper or film, which is then transferred onto the surface of an object, typically through heat or water application.
- Decal (spot color) is a decorative technique in which colors are individually mixed and printed to yield maximum color accuracy or to produce special effects, such as gold, silver, or fluorescent colors. This method can only be used with designs using 6 colors or less.
- Decal (CYMK) is a decorative technique that layers and mixes the four basic colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key/Black) to produce almost any color. There are no color limitations with CYMK decal printing, making it ideal for complex multi-color designs.
